About Me

Hello, my name is Cecilia! I am an 19-year-old from California. I was born in China, and I am fluent in both English and Mandarin.

My interests and hobbies span a lot of different areas. Academically, I am interested in biology (particularly neurochemistry), computer science, math, etc. I also enjoy studying the humanities as well. I used to dabble in political theory, whereas recently my focus has shifted to Lacanian psychoanalysis for its applications both in cultural and political critique, and more importantly, in the clinic. I am also open to the idea of learning creative writing one day.

I am an avid music lover as well! I play the piano, and I aspire to one day pick up the guitar as well. I listen to a lot of moody electronic music that has elements of EDM. Some artists/bands I like are: Crystal Castles, akiaura, Sidewalks and Skeletons, and more. Some of the more popular artists I like are Lorde and Lana del Rey.
